The Greystar leasing team celebrate the grand opening of their EVIVA Midtown Apartments in the heart of downtown Sacramento. The Greystar employees include (from left to right) Shauna Gowen (Community Manager), Marina Ambroselli (Leasing Professional), Heather Parkhill (Community Manager), Janelle Yule (Assistant Manager), Jessi Bronson (Leasing Professional) and Janice Sotelo (Assistant Manager).
Greystar hosted a grand opening celebration at EVIVA, the first multifamily project in Sacramento to be built using modular construction. Located at the midtown corner of 16th & N Streets, the 118-unit, five-story structure with underground parking was built using modular units produced in an Idaho factory, shipped to the site, and stacked one on top of another using a crane.
"EVIVA is in the center of the urban renewal underway in downtown Sacramento," according to Community Manager Shauna Gowen. "In fact, the EVIVA name is derived from the word, revival, and our residents feel they are a part of the exciting revival happening in our city."
The luxury studio, one- and two-bedroom units feature many premium upgrades, such as stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, nine-foot ceilings, oversized windows, and high speed internet fiber included in rent.
This innovative project is a joint venture of The Integral Group, Capital Area Development Corporation (CADA), LKD Ventures LCC and Urban Core LLC.
Sacramento City Council member Steve Hansen and California State Assemblymember Kevin McCarty attended the grand opening. Both elected officials praised the developers for their trend setting project for the region.
